Ambassadors
Millions are being reached worldwide by committed friends and family members who use social media to share messages and drive awareness of melanoma and other skin cancers.
Educational Material
The pictures show items currently being used at educational & health conferences, schools, libraries, bookstores, professional businesses, medical & dental offices, salons, sports clubs, book clubs, social clubs, childcare centers and churches.
Events
Events such as the Melanoma Kills Golf Open, Church and School presentations, and the regional Hope Fest highlight Melanoma Awareness.
Donations for Cancer Research
“Friends of Krista” gifted financial support to major medical centers for the early detection and prevention of Melanoma:
- $2,500,000 to Oregon Health and Science University
- $1,000,000 to project initiated at Arizona State University
- $50,000 to University of Michigan Melanoma research
- $2,000 to Mayo Clinic
